Dear Parents/Guardians,

  Welcome to the 2020-21 School Year!

          My name is Esperanza Hernandez and I will be your child's Language Arts teacher. I am very excited to be working with you and your child. Due to the current situation in which we as a society are living in, Covid-19 has catapult us into a new and exciting ways of teaching and learning. This is known as Distance Learning.  Even though we will not  be able to meet in person, I would like to assure you that your child's learning experience will be as engaging, and demanding as if it were to be in a traditional school setting.  My main goal is to make sure your child is learning the California Common Core Standards in 6th grade through the use of technology. If you have any questions during the school year please don't hesitate to contact me. I look forward in meeting you and your child in person in the near future.
