School Safety - Let's Work Together!

District Saturday School Program to Start on October 13, 2018

In an effort to provide students with an opportunity to recover lost instructional time due to a full day absence, the Norwalk – La Mirada Unified School District is offering, AT NO COST.
The goal of Saturday School is to provide students not only a chance to recapture “lost learning,” but also an opportunity to work on their academic skills with our teachers in the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. In addition, activities, such as fine arts, performing arts, hands-on science, PE, and other curricular areas may be offered. And to top it off, students attending Saturday School at Corvallis will recover a full day absence.
Saturday School includes a nutrition break where lunch will be offered to all students. It is expected that students arrive on time, be picked up on time, and cooperate during the session. No transportation is provided by the school district. Please also note that all regular school rules will be enforced.
