School Overview
Corvallis Middle School is located in the southeast region on Los Angeles County and is a diverse campus with over 900 students. We have a predominantly Latino/Hispanic population (about 84%), 6% white, 6% African-American, 3% Asian, and 1% “other.” About 10% of our campus is designated special education, about 25% are English learners, and about 64% of our students are on free or reduced lunch. We have a certificated staff of 38, including a full time counselor. We have a principal and an assistant principal, and about 40 classified staff. Corvallis benefits from the services of a full time technology and band teachers, a full time speech pathologist, a full time literacy coach and full time math coach. Corvallis shares a school psychologist and district security officer. |
